WATER CONDITIONS

The temperature of the surrounding waters of Vancouver remains stable between 4 and 7 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Due to varying air temperatures or wind conditions, getting wet may seem colder although the water isn't.

No Cotton allowed
Wearing cotton drains heat from your body when it gets wet from sweat or water.

Always wear a PFD (Personal Flotation Device): it keeps you warm; it keeps you afloat; it can be used to lift you out of the water; it can save your life!

Be Prepared!
Always bring an extra change of dry clothes in case you get wet from rain, a huli, or simply splashing. It makes for a more enjoyable experience and you can always head straight for eats right after practice!
