Outrigger canoeing is a watersport, so be prepared to get wet at any time. Water, wind, current, rain conditions can change at any time so it is very important to be prepared.
The following is a list of suggested apparel or gear to bring.

• Polypropylene layers for warmth and moisture wicking ability
• Thin fleece
• Windbreaker jacket
• Padded neoprene/polypro/lycra shorts or pants help to protect bottom and hips from boat rash
• Sandals, neoprene booties, rubber boots or old runners that are able to get wet
• Toque or hat
• Sunscreen
• Water bottle
• Gloves
• Always bring an extra set of clothes to change into in case you get wet
