Small Boat On-line Booking

Race Season Kicking Off
It isn't as warm as we would like, but the racing season is starting soon. The first crew race will be the North Vancouver Sprints on April 26th and the Solo Races on the 27th. Level 3 paddlers are highly advised to race this event.

Big Chop is BACK
We are looking racers and volunteers for the second annual Big Chop paddle series. Any members looking to help out for 4 events will get free race entry to all events and some Big Chop swag. We are also looking for staff to help out with each event. Please go to: Big Chop

Vancouver Ocean Sports, formally known as Pogue Sports Canoe Club, is the only club in Vancouver that offers programs for everyone. From recreational to competitive, adaptive to junior, we truly are a club for the community and all its residents. Join us for Outrigger, Dragon boating, Kayaking and fun.

Kayak and Outrigger Storage: Want to buy a Kayak but have nowhere to store it? Store your boat at a safe location right on the water at the mouth of False Creek. Paddle into the creek or explore the bay in 10 mins. Change rooms available.

Storage Fees:

OC1, OC2 or Kayak: $25/month + GST for non-members, $20/month + GST for members.

Tandem Kayak: $35/month + GST for non-members, $30/month + GST for members.

These rates are based on annual rental, monthly rentals are charge more.

New Fleet of Kayaks and Canoes: Vancouver Ocean Sports is now offering full kayak membership and full access to solo and tandem kayaks and canoes. More information coming soon!

What Level am I?

Intro: This program is for those who have never paddled outrigger before.

Level1: A program designed for paddlers with up to 2 years paddling experience.

Level 2: For those paddlers with more than 2 years experience that have strong technique.

Level3: This program is for the more competitive paddler who has strong technique and is committed to practicing 2 - 3 times a week.
