The Lightning has taken its place on the leader long enough that it is now known as one of the fastest boats on the water. Built in Canada and ready to ship anywhere.
The Lightning was designed by Sonny Bradley in early 2000 and has become the three time record breaking Molokai Hoe Canoe. It has been chosen for the IVF World Sprints in 2008, 2010 and for 2012.
The canoes are built with a nice amount of rocker that allow you to carve down a wave and not spin out or stick. The faster turning makes it the perfect canoe for the world sprints.
Our Two- Piece canoe was needed to facilitate shipping a 45 foot canoe in 40 foot container. We have consulted engineers to help create a removable tail section for Bradley Lightning. Strong and easy to remove, this will also allow for shipping to any port. The tail can either be permanently attached once it arrives, or stay removable.
